Since October of 2004, a very select group of men from around the globe joined the Edo Popken Zurich Lion Club. There are just 35 of us, and we meet twice a year to discuss the economy, world affairs, the arts, fashion, food – anything and everything of interest to us. I designed this polo shirt as our club uniform. There’s a lion, the ancient symbol of the town of Zurich, a Swiss Cross on the sleeve and a bold number 1, because that’s what these men are – Number One in their respective fields. Here I offer a variation on our club polo in my super-light Egyptian cotton piqué. It’s sure to become your #1 favorite for weekends and after-five.
